Beyond Net Zero: A Commitment to Regeneration

Every week, the world builds the equivalent of Paris – approximately 100 square kilometers – in new construction (source). By 2060, we are projected to add 235 billion square meters of new floor area to the planet. That’s nearly 300 New York Cities on top of the buildings that already exist today.

Many of us may not be around to witness that future, but this reality serves as a powerful reminder: the buildings we design today shape lives, landscapes, and legacies for decades and centuries to come.

It is imperative to consider: How do we design for both our current and future clients, as well as for generations we may never meet?
